Warning Notice

To preserve a pleasure reading environment in the library, eating and drinking, uproarious talking and laughing, playing computer game, playing music and using mobile phone is strictly PROHIBITED.

Library users should follow the rules of behaviour listed here. Offenders are subject to loss of library privileges according to the demerit schedule.

1.         First offender’s name will be recorded in the Library Record Book and 1 demerit point deducted. A repeated offender’s name will be announced on the Library’s notice board and 2 demerit points deducted.

a)        If an offender has 2 demerit points deducted, their borrowing privilege will be suspended for 3 months.

b)        If an offender has 3 demerit points deducted, their borrowing privilege will be suspended for 12 months.

2.         Library reserved the rights to take appropriate action for those repeated offenders.

We appeal to all students and hope you can avoid disturbing other library users. We will prohibit carrying of any bags into the library premise if we find problems of eating and drinking persists. Your co-operation is much appreciated.

本馆严禁读者在馆内饮食、喧哗、玩电脑游戏、播放音乐及使用手提电话。

即日起，凡违规者将直接被记名记点，不再给予口头告诫，并依“南方学院图书馆读者违规处理办法”处理。经本馆同仁登记违规记点达二点者，除依下列方式处理外，并得在图书馆公布栏布告。

1. 违规记点达二点者停止其借书权利三个月。

2. 违规记点达三点者停止其借书权利十二个月。

若以上规章仍未能制止读者违规，本馆有权采取任何适当行动以处理违规读者。

本馆吁请各位读者多为他人着想，避免对其他图书馆使用者造成干扰。若馆内的饮食问题持续发生，未来本馆将禁止读者携带任何背包入馆。感谢您的合作。
