| Guidelines for using Close Stack Audio Visual (AV) Room |

1. Lecturers and staff should fill up the “application form for lecturers and staff” for each item borrowed at AV room’s counter on the 3rd floor of the 2. Students should fill up the “Application Form for Student” for each borrowed item. 3. AV Collections include video recording, sound recording, CD-ROM, VCD and DVD. 4. Borrower may acquire earphone and book (if the item comes with a book), from the service counter. Cassette borrower may acquire cassette, earphone and book (if the item comes with a book) and proceed to AV room. 5. Rules of using AV Room and Collections: 5.1 Opening hours:
5.2 Rooms are provided on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Students shall not reserve any materials in AV collection. 5.3 Users are not allowed to use their own AV materials in the AV room. 5.4 AV materials and equipments are non-circulating. 5.5 Reproduction or duplication of audio-visual materials or computer software is strictly prohibited. 5.6 Users are responsible for the replacement of lost or damaged material and facilities, and are required to pay double the price as compensation. 5.7 Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in the AV room. 5.8 Silence must be observed in the Library. 5.9 The Librarians may waive any of the above rules at their discretion.
